Ca C’est Bon: Bread Pudding

On this week’s Ca C’est Bon, Abby and Chef Marcus Bergeron are making bread pudding.

Here’s the recipe:

Melted Butter

2 Cups Half and half

2 cups condensed milk

1 loaf of french bread

3 eggs

2 cups sugar

4 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 teaspoons of cinnamon sugar

Preheat oven to 350°. Let bread soak in the half/half and condensed milk for about 10 minutes. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and stir until you reached desired consistency. Add to buttered baking dish. Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon and sugar on top, and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes, or until bottom is firm. Top with sauce (Praline, Rum,Chocolate) and serve.
