New Iberia Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Wednesday on Twenty Arpent Road.

Police were called with a report of shots fired in the 1300 block at about 2:45 a.m.

They found a woman who had been shot during a fight with another woman. The injured woman was treated and released from a local hospital.
