Jennings Police search for truck that struck pedestrians at McDonald’s

Jennings Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit and run this morning.

The department shared a photo of the vehicle which police say struck two pedestrians in the McDonald’s parking lot on Hwy 26.

Police Chief Danny Semmes says that the driver of the vehicle may have been an elderly man who did not  see the pedestrians who were walking across the parking lot. The two were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Officers are currently looking for the vehicle which is described as a dark colored Toyota Tacoma.
