Summer forecast rolls along

Louisiana summers are a marathon, and at this point we are about a third of the way through the slog that is summer time.

The forecast hasn’t had any substantial changes for several days, and it doesn’t look like for the next several days there will be any substantial changes.

It will remain hot and humid through the rest of the week with temperatures ranging from the low to mid 90s and the heat index sitting consistently in the triple digits.

The hazy, dusty skies will stick around through the rest of the work week with haze clearing out by Saturday opening the door for a few more showers.

A sneak peak into your holiday week is looking pretty good aside from maybe a few extra showers on Tuesday.
